ACTORS AT WORK: Character actors Brooke Price, second from left, and Scott Moura, were a big hit as they portrayed "Vice City" exotic film celebrities Candy Suxx and Jack Mehoff during Russell Tanoue's huge Electric Piranha Room "Vice City" party at the Ocean Club on Saturday. Price and Moura partied well past midnight in the VIP area with Juliet Lighter, left, and Keana Anderson.
A SHOW WELL DONE: Matthew Wright and Celia Chun relaxed backstage after her impressive performance as Pele in Hawaii Dance Theatre's production of "The Legend Of Pele" at the Hawaii Theatre Saturday afternoon. Wright, HDT director and choreographer, combined hula and western styles to create the delightful piece of island dance.
A GREAT DAY FOR A "HWN GROOVE": Raymond Kane, seated right, and his wife, Elodia, stopped by Gordon Biersch on Sunday to congratulate Mike Kaawa, front center, on his new album, "Hwn Groove." Chris Kamaka, standing left, Omi, and William "Baba" Alimoot were other early wellwishers. Brother Noland, Cyril Pahinui, Jan Luna and Melveen Leed also enlivened the party.
