Simeon Andres Cortez, 83, of Honolulu, a retired Holiday Isle Hotel dishwasher, died May 31 in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. Francis "Atai" Patrick Goo, 90, of Aiea, a Shell Oil Co. supervisor and treasurer, died June 7 in Vancouver, Canada. He was born in Honolulu.
