He was also a Tradewind Tours escort; manager of the Maui, Coco and Kona Palms hotels; former executive manager of King Kamehameha Hotel; and retired manager of the Jeanie Marie, Capt. Cook and Capt. Bean's cruises. He was born in Paauilo Mauka, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Leatrice, daughter Nalani Ridenour, sons James and Mark, sister Gladys Farias and eight grandchildren.
