Boston Pops goes native
Boston Pops officials have contacted Honolulu Symphony President Stephen Bloom, saying they wanted input on traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music for a Hawaiian-theme show they have planned. The Boston Pops people also want Hawaiian soloists and music charts. Steve, who has dealt with the Boston orchestra in the past, directed them to Honolulu Symphony Pops conductor Matt Catingub ...
