Nemesio Mandac Carlos, 94, of Kapaa, Kauai, a retired high school custodian, died May 25. He was born in Loag Norte, the Philippines. He is survived by wife Mary; son Robert Arconado; daughters Evelyn Haygood, Elizabeth Eaton and E. Lynn Spears; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Henry Pritchard "Jr" Kanoho, 57, of Anahola, Kauai, a retired Kapaa High School security officer, died Monday in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Lihue. Velimir Stanley Svesko, 89, of Lahaina, a self-employed obstetrician-gynecologist, died Saturday at home. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio. Raymond Tenko Taba, 87, of Pearl City, died last Wednesday in Kuakini Medical Center. He is also survived by sister Betty F. Uyematsu. The mortuary provided additional information for an obituary published yesterday.

Antonio Navarro Tacuban, 92, of Honolulu, a retired mason, died May 16 in Honolulu. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by sons Rudolph and Elmo; daughters Amelita Avelino, Frances A. Shigeo Robert Uemoto, 88, of Honalo, Kona, Hawaii, a coffee farmer and retired groundskeeper for the former Kona Hilton Hotel, died Thursday in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Napoopoo, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Gerald, Donald, Wayne, Gary and Wesley; daughter Diane Pinao; sister Haruno Fujino; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
