The 125-member Honolulu Symphony Chorus performed with the Royal Hawaiian Band for the first time yesterday afternoon, singing "Hawaii Ponoi," "Aloha Oe" and other songs in a free concert at the Kapiolani Park Bandstand.

A gathering of British car enthusiasts showed their cars in Kapiolani Park yesterday. Guy Jennings backed his 1952 MG TD into a parking stall.

Maverick Aipa, 4, was more interested in his Transformer toy than the canoe races yesterday at Keehi Lagoon. Maverick's dad, Raven Aipa, was paddling for Hui Lanakila in the senior men's division at the 13th Annual Clement D. Pa'iaina Regatta. Healani Canoe Club sponsored the competition.
