Annual church luau
and fair has sit-down
or takeout feast
Kawaiaha'o Church will celebrate Kamehameha Day early at its annual luau and craft fair next Saturday at the church hall.
Tickets are available at $15 for the full sit-down feast -- to be served at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. seatings -- and $12 for takeout plates to be available for pickup from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the Bookstore Lanai from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. tomorrow and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays except Wednesday.
Entertainment for the luau will be presented by Halau O Na Pua Kukui, Kealiika Apunihonua Ke 'Ena A 'O Hula, Al Machida and Friends and the Kawaiaha'o Church School children.
The fair will feature clothing, feather and silk leis, koa jewelry, lau hala items and other crafts.
