EMBRACING VICTORY OVER CANCER

DENNIS ODA / DODA@STARBULLETIN.COM Doy Pahukoa and Lorna Smith embraced yesterday as Denise Singson waited to give Smith a hug at the end of Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center's Cancer Survivor Day Celebration. Smith just finished her chemotherapy for breast cancer, and Pahukoa had a bone marrow transplant for leukemia six years ago. Singson is also a cancer survivor.
