Richard Andrade Sr., 79, of Kaneohe, a retired stevedore for McCabe, Hamilton and Renny Co., died May 10 in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Lisa, sons Richard "Rick" Jr. and Edward, daughter Diane Rodrigues, brother Bernard, sister Johanna, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Call after 8:30 a.m. Burial: 11 a.m. at the cemetery. Casual attire.

Sister Mary Verna Barboza, 70, of Syracuse, N.Y., a motherhouse coordinator, director of ministerial services and administrator, died May 11. She also was a teacher and principal. She is survived by brothers Walter, George, David and Dennis Keamo and Allan Yapp; and sisters Johanna Fernandez, Allie Lopez, Matilda Kahoonel, Maile Schuwer, Emelle Mamane and Inchon Keamo. Services: 10 a.m. May 31 at St. Francis Convent, 2715 Pamoa Road. Burial held in Syracuse.

Pamela Rose Bryant, 51, of Hauula, a social worker, died Tuesday in Ewa Beach. She was born in Seattle. She is survived by daughters Sabra, Seleste Chock and Fereda Evans; father Arthur Johnstone; mother Betty Leslie; stepmother Beth Johnstone; brother Arthur Johnstone; sisters Debra Hansen and Brynda and Devon Johnstone; and four grandchildren. Private scattering of ashes.

Charlie Shek Sang Chan, 76, of Honolulu, died Saturday in St. Francis Medical Center. He was born in Canton, China. He is survived by wife Ying Tai, sons Sin Tang and Johnson, daughter Choy Tai Nishimura, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Taoist services: 10:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Tuesday at Borthwick Mortuary. Cremation to follow.

Alvin Wai Kong Chung Sr., 72, of Kaneohe, a retired firefighter for the Honolulu Fire Department, died last Friday in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Herman and Alvin Jr.; daughters Sherilyne and Juliann; brothers Raymond and Thomas; sisters Elsie Punohu, Julia Kim and Maria Lin; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Hawaiian Memorial Park.

Roy Toshio Fukumura, 96, of Kahului, died Saturday in Hale Makua, Kahului. He is also survived by wife Haruko. The mortuary provided additional information for an obituary published yesterday.

Fred Shoichi Fukunaga, 90, of Hilo, formerly of Honolulu, a retired masseur for the Atkinson Young Men's Christian Association of Honolulu, died Sunday in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Japan. He is survived by caregivers Amy and Stephan Torak. Services pending.

David Alan Gregorie, 52, of Haiku, Maui, a manager for an aviation facility in Kahului and a construction worker on Maui, died Wednesday at home. He was born in Massachusetts. He is survived by wife Elizabeth, sons Kamuela and Kawika, mother Pauline M. and brother Peter. Celebration of life: noon June 7 at Gregorie Haiku residence.

Eishin Hamasaki, 79, of Aiea, a retired C.S. Wo and Sons warehouse supervisor, died Monday in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Papaaloa, Hawaii. He is survived by son Wallace, brother Keisho, sister Fusako Unten and three grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Casual attire. No flowers.

Grace Yaeko Higuchi, 90, of Honolulu, a retired Sears, Roebuck and Co. salesclerk, died May 11. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Dean Higuchi, daughter Carol A. DeCanto, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services: noon Tuesday at Nuuanu Mortuary. Casual attire.

Pong Hui Hwang, 92, of Honolulu, a homemaker, died Monday at home. She was born in Taegu, Korea. She is survived by sons John Mun and Young, Kyong and Yong Ho; daughters Ok Yon Mun and Ok Hui Lee; sisters Suk Hui and Chong Hui; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Ike Torao Ikari, 81, of Honolulu, a United Airlines employee and a retired U.S. Army veteran, died Saturday. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Florence U.; sons Richard M., Gary T. and Michael M.; daughter Evelyn S. Kinoshita; brother Sueto; sisters Ruth T. Okase and Iris H. Yano; and six grandchildren. Dominga A. Manubi, 86, of Mountlake Terrace, Wash., a retired California Packing Corp. pineapple trimmer, died May 13 in Mountlake Terrace. She was born in Abra, the Philippines. She is survived by sons Robert Segundo and Urbano C. Manubi Jr., daughters Patricia Quirido and Dionicia A. Agbayani, brother Nicasio Guzman and four grandchildren. Roy Susumu Murakami, 61, of Makawao, Maui, died May 15 in Maui Memorial Medical Center. The mortuary provided incorrect information for an obituary published yesterday.

Yoshio Yanagisako, 88, of Wahiawa, former owner of Liliha Saimin, died April 23 in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Yuriko, son Leigh, daughter Diane Fujikami, sister Elaine Hayashi and a grandchild. Private services.
