>> Catcher Dane Sardinha (Kamehameha, Pepperdine) came off the disabled list Wednesday and played his first game Thursday for the Chattanooga Lookouts in the Southern League. He went 0-for-4, but rebounded with a 3-for-5 night Friday with a homer and three runs batted in.
>> Infielder Rodney Choy Foo (Kailua) has hit safely in 30 of 33 games for the Kinston Indians in the Carolina League. His batting average is fourth best in the league.
>> Right-handed reliever Brandon Villafuerte (Big Island born) was placed on the disabled list Thursday by the San Diego Padres with a strained right shoulder. He is San Diego's save leader with five.
>> Outfielder Benny Agbayani (St. Louis, Hawaii Pacific) was placed on the disabled list Thursday by the Omaha Royals with a tight right calf muscle.
