Slater slips past
Burrow for No. 24

Slater won despite two dislocated toes, scoring a 9.57, 9.33 and a perfect 10.
"I'm kind of emotional right now," Slater said. "It's been three years, almost exactly. I'm so stoked.

Rainbows still looking for basketball players
The deadline to sign players to a national letter of intent passed yesterday, but the Hawaii basketball coaches may not be done with recruiting season just yet.
The Rainbow Warriors did not sign any new recruits yesterday, but may still get another commitment in the next few days.
"We can still sign somebody, but the letter won't be binding," UH coach Riley Wallace said.
Unlike with a national letter of intent, a student-athlete signed to a school's letter of intent can break his commitment and attend another school without penalty.
The Rainbows signed one player during the spring signing period to go along with the three they signed in the fall and have one scholarship still available.
As of now, point guard Logan Lee, shooting guard Jake Sottos and forwards Jeff Blackett and Bobby Nash are set to join the Rainbows next season. Nash is the only incoming freshman of the group. Lee will be a sophomore and Sottos and Blackett are entering their junior years.
