Students from seven Oahu middle schools raced their model solar cars yesterday, using only the power of the sun to fuel them at the fourth annual Sun Power for Schools Solar Sprint exhibition. Ira Jury, from Waipahu Intermediate, checked out a wheel that fell off during races.
