Police seek suspect
in 2 robberies and
slashing of woman

Honolulu police are looking for a man suspected of committing two robberies on April 29 and slashing a woman with a knife in one of the robberies.
Police said the man went into a gas station convenience store at Keeaumoku and Beretania streets at 9:53 a.m. and grabbed money from the cash register while pretending to buy an item.
About five minutes later, he entered a grocery store at Keeaumoku and Kinau streets, demanded money from a woman, and slashed her arm with a knife when she refused, police said.
The woman, 52, was treated for lacerations.
The man is described as in his 20s, 5 feet 7 inches, about 160 pounds, with medium build and dark wavy hair. He was wearing a dark long-sleeved T-shirt over a light colored T-shirt, gray surf shorts and slippers.
