THE SEARCH FOR SIGNS OF
HAWAIIAN LIFE
IN THE UNIVERSE

art
Laura Young, of Honolulu, dined at the Aloha Cafe in Jennerville, Pa., while visiting her daughter, Celia, and grandson, David. Decorated with photos of Hawaii, the cafe is owned and operated by Chris and Uilani Talbert, formerly of Kalihi. Former Nanakuli resident Gregory Kakalia and former Waialua resident Brenda Glasco work there.

"The Search for Signs of Hawaiian Life in the Universe" is just that:
We're looking for evidence of Hawaiiana everywhere but Hawaii.
