Police captured all three escapees from the high-security facility at Halawa prison in separate locations on Windward Oahu between noon and 1 p.m.

Albert Batalona was riding on a bus near the American Savings Bank Kaneohe Kahuhipa branch at about 12:30 p.m., police said.

A witness said an officer from the Specialized Services Division spotted Batalona and called for backup.

An officer directing traffic near the bank stopped the bus, which was full of passengers, and 10 police officers surrounded the bus. He said Batalona gave himself up, and no one was injured.

Police said David Scribner was arrested in Punaluu near 53-608 Kamehameha Highway at 12:15 p.m. Warren Elicker was captured riding in a white pickup truck near Castle High School The escapees were taken to the main police station on Beretania Street.

The three inmates were discovered missing last Friday during a headcount. A car believed stolen by the trio was found in the Hauula Kai Shopping Center later that day.

Police have been searching in Hauula Valley for the men after a hunter spotted suspicious men at a campsite.

A task force of more than 100 law enforcement officials had been looking for the men. All three were considered dangerous.
