Casting for 'Kisses'
Producers of Adam Sandler's "Fifty-First Kisses" will hold an extras' casting call for ethnic Hawaiians from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Ilikai Hotel's second floor Hawaii I meeting room.Applicants must be 16 and older. A resume and snapshops are appreciated but not required, and casual dress is OK, said Margaret Doversola, casting director.
The auditions will take about 15 minutes.
The Columbia Pictures' romantic comedy co starring Drew Barrymore begins filming on Oahu the first week of May through the first week of June.
Art for a good cause
The 9th annual TCM fund-raiser, ConTempo 2003 taking place April 26 at Neiman Marcus is sold out, but art aficionados can still place absentee bids on auction items.For more information, visit www.tcmhi.org beginning Monday, or stop by Neiman Marcus April 10 to 25 for the preview .
The ConTempoRARITIES silent auction includes an array of artwork, art-related travel and dining experiences, and other artful surprises. In addition to including works by internationally renowned artists such as Nicolas Africano, Enrique Chagoya, and Lesley Dill, Hawaii artists include Esther Shimazu, Toshiko Takaezu, Nadine Ferraro and Alan Leitner. Works will be priced from $400 to $110,000. Proceeds from auction sales benefit both the artist and TCM's exhibition and education programs.

Waikiki gets spammed
For the love of Spam, head to Waikiki tomorrow for the Spam Jam Street Festival.Kalakaua Avenue will be closed from Seaside to Kaiulani starting at 2 p.m. with the festival running from 4 to 10 p.m. Menu items will hold to $5 and less. Frank DeLima will preside over the entertainment which includes Maunalua, Tsunami, Kawai Cockett and Coconut Joe. There'll also be crafts, a Spam-eating contest and scavenger hunt. Free.
