Campbell 7, Waipahu 0: Tristan Bailey threw a complete-game two-hitter and keyed a five-run third inning with a two-run single for the Sabers in their season-opener. James Bannister added an RBI single for Campbell.
"We scratched for our runs," Campbell coach Lane Watanuki said. "Any time you win, it's a good experience for the kids. They were real anxious to start the season and came out with a lot of intensity.
