"A Man Apart" >> A mysterious man known only as Diablo takes over a powerful drug cartel when the former boss goes to prison. That former drug lord then teams up with a DEA agent and his partner to try to take down Diablo. Vin Diesel heads the cast that includes Larenz Tate and Timothy Olyphant. (R)
"Phone Booth" >> Originally slated for release in December 2002, the studio decided to wait to get this intense drama to theaters. Colin Farrell plays a slimy entertainment publicist who sneaks away to call his would-be mistress at a nearby pay phone. But the phone rings before he makes the call, and when he picks it up, he's told that if he hangs up, he'll be shot. Kiefer Sutherland ("24") plays the sniper. Katie Holmes and Forest Whitaker co-star. (R)
"What a Girl Wants" >> An American girl (Amanda Bynes) decides to track down her long-lost father, who is part of England's aristocratic society, and she soon finds herself in the middle of a comedic culture clash. (PG)
