On the Scene
AT THE LAUGH FACTORY: Po'okela Award-winning actress Julia Ogilvie dropped in when Mario Joyner, left, and Jo Koy opened at the Laugh Factory on Monday. Joyner's insightful observations on cell phones, male/female relations, and being 40+ and single, made him a hit as the headliner. Koy worked a lot of good material off the audience; he is clearly on his way to headliner status.
GREAT DRESS, SHERRY!: Sherry Chock Wong modeled her latest high-profile fashion design as she celebrated with Laurence Paxton, left, and director/choreographer John Rampage, at the opening night cast party for Diamond Head Theatre's production of "Romance, Romance" at Tavola Tavola on Friday.
PUSSYCAT LOUNGE TURNS 5: Veteran club DJs Daniel J, left, and G-Spot, got the party off as Jack Law and Flash Hansen celebrated five years of Pussycat Lounge events at the Wave Waikiki on Tuesday. Gary Kewley, Renee Jensen-Oliveira, Gretchen Broderson, Amy Strandley and the Hobo House ohana were there for the party.
