She is survived by sons Randy and Kale Gilbert and Keola Chan; daughters Gwen Carpenter and Janine Galindo; brothers George and William Sauer; sisters Sylvia Stickel and Carrol Strang; and nine grandchildren. Penne Ann Cook, 45, of Kula, Maui, a homemaker, died March 13 in Kula. She was born in Torrance, Calif. She is survived by partner K.C. Mumford; son Brandon; hanai sons Nicholas Kirby, Christopher and Curtis Mumford; hanai daughters Cassandra Kirby and Danille, Brittany and Oliva Mumford; brother Thomas; and sisters Tamara Kirby and Alicia Dandoy. Harry Masatoshi Ejima, 93, of Kapolei, formerly of Hilo, a retired general contractor, died Monday in St. Francis-West Medical Center. He was born in Spreckelsville, Maui. Concepcion "Mary" Interbencion Javinar, 85, of Aiea, died March 13 in Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi. She was born in Koloa, Kauai.
