Gilbert Alivado Sr., 68, of Waipahu, a retired truck driver, died March 8 in St. Francis Medical Center-West. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by son Gilbert Jr.; daughters Colleen Alivado and Debra Anderson; brother Reuben; sisters Genevieve Akui, Doris Hawelu and Vivian Waltman; and three grandchildren. Private services.

Manuel Barcial, 71, of Kauai died Feb. 15 in Kailua. The mortuary provided incorrect information for an obituary published Friday.

Leo J. Breault, 80, of Marion, Mass., formerly of Honolulu, a retired Loomis Armored Car Service employee and U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force veteran, died Feb. 22 in New Bedford, Mass. He was born in New Bedford. He is survived by former wife Sachiko, son Marc, daughters Susan Dexter and Patricia Oliveira, brothers Normand and George, sisters Theresa Beranek and Marie J. Moore, and three grandchildren. Services held.

Helen Y. Chang, 83, of Mililani, a retired U.S. Post Office employee, died Friday in St. Francis Hospice-West. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Walter and Francis, daughters Aileen Lum-Akana and Elaine Sunahara, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Borthwick Mortuary. Pablo Monares Gosiaco, 78, of Waimanalo, a nurseryman for Miles Hirota Nursery, died last Sunday in Nuuanu Hale. He was born in Pavia, Iloilo City, the Philippines.
