New jobs

>> PacRim Marketing Group Inc. has hired David Keuning as senior consultant for strategic marketing and sales development. He will consult on the development of PacRim's technologies, Internet related programs and client strategies for reaching Pacific Rim markets. Keuning was most recently vice president of Asia Pacific and strategic development for Inovaware Corp., a Honolulu-based technology firm.

>> Property management company Certified Management Inc. has created a new executive level with nine directors and one assistant director. Alan Takumi, as executive director of business management, will act as a liaison for all directors and monitor operations. Jim Andersen, as director of administration, will orient new account executives. John Jepsen Jr., as director of budget and finance, will be responsible for budgeting personnel and processes. Tom Tabacco, as director of business literature, will develop company literature and manuals. Reiko Marino has been named director of community business and Martha Scheller has been appointed assistant director of community business. They will act as liaisons for all sponsorship-related issues and will work in conjunction with the director of special events. Brian Molina, as director of education and training, will develop and review educational methodologies, training materials and effectiveness. Linda Alexander, as director of public relations and communications, will standard and streamline all forms of communication. Stacey Tokairin, as director of special events, will coordinate, develop, implement and oversee all company-sponsored events. Jon McKenna, as director of systems, will be responsible for staff knowledge of the computer system and programs, and Web site maintenance. Caroline Bell, as director of customer relations, will assist with accounts and provide marketing materials.

>> Architects Hawaii Ltd. has promoted Terry McFarland to senior associate. He is a project architect with more than 27 years of experience who joined the firm in 1997. McFarland's current projects include the Honolulu Zoo and Maui Lani Elementary School.

>> Pacific LightNet Inc. has promoted Leora Colley to director of billing, credit and collection. She previously served as manager for customer service and billing and was instrumental in developing these departments. Colley has 22 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. She joined Pacific LightNet last year.

>> The Hawaii State Bar Association Collection Law Section has elected Marvin Dang chairman for 2003. Other officers are Vice-Chair Steven Guttman, Secretary Thomas Wong and Treasurer David Farmer.
