Malia Puipui Ahomana, 68, of Honolulu, a homemaker, died Tuesday. She was born in Tonga. She is survived by sons Timote, Poiloti, Sepasi, Tevita, Peau and Keola; adopted sons Tautala and Hopoate Ahonima; daughters Suliana Vulangi, Mapuana Latu, Elenoa Matavesi and Aita Tonga; 37 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Ricky Sixto Augustin, 66, of Honolulu, a retired Safeway meat cutter, died Feb. 2 in Honolulu. He was born in Hana, Maui. He is survived by wife Esperanza "Joane"; son Delbert; daughters Noreen Piccinino and Rona Augustin-Chun; brothers Ernest and Dennis; sisters Sylvia Barroga, Flora Castor, Medie Raguindin, Mary Thomford, Carmen Fraser and Josephine Espeneli; and five grandchildren. Roberto Cabulong, 79, of Aberdeen, Md., died Feb. 10 in Aberdeen. He is also survived by daughters Roberta Cabulong, Barbara Bell and Linda Bauer; and sisters Elena Bumanglag and Ester Buenaventura. Additional information was provided for an obituary published Tuesday.

Shirley De Silva, 65, of Kailua-Kona, a retired Hong Kung Restaurant bartender and manager, a Wackenhut security officer and former Kona Hukilau Restaurant barmaid, died Feb. 27 in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in North Kohala, Hawaii. She is survived by hanai daughter Noreen Kimitete; brothers Frank De Silva Plada, Edward De Silva Gomes, Herbert De Silva, Walter De Silva Bowley and John Costa; hanai brother Herbert Maunu Jr.; sisters Ethel De Silva Yamamoto, Thelma De Silva Pool, Rosemarie De Silva De Pontes, Joanne De Silva David, Angie Andrade and Shirley Henderson; hanai sister Maraea Maunu Ynigues; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Doris D. Giuli, 95, of Honolulu, a retired Thos. Giuli Construction and Thos. Giuli Overseas office manager, died Feb. 20 in Honolulu. She was born in Bennington, Mich. She is survived by sons Tom and Chuck, sisters Donna Dodo and Pauline Clayton, brother Loren Drury and two grandchildren. Rose Lai Yung Gomes, 84, of Aiea, died Sunday in Kapiolani Medical Center, Pali Momi. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Gary L.; daughter Verna Wicklund; brothers Albert Chun and Dr. Clarence Lum; sisters Betty Leu, Ellen Lee, Stella Juan, Esther Persons and Jean Chan; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Lin Ung Ing, 98, of Honolulu, a retired Fern Elementary School teacher, died Feb. 25 in Straub Clinic & Hospital. She was born in Kapaa, Kauai. She is survived by sons Melvin and William; brothers Gordan and Edwin Tam; sisters Marian Lynch, Gertrude Wong and Priscilla Leong; and one grandchild. Edith Shigeko Miyasato, 86, of Honolulu, a retired Andrade & Co. seamstress and sales clerk, died Monday in Straub Clinic & Hospital. She was born in Waipahu. James "Jim" O. Murchison, 68, of Honolulu, a retired U.S. Navy chief petty officer with more than 20 years of submarine service and a state Department of Education employee, died Feb. 28 in Tripler Army Medical Center. Michael Sanborn Sheldt, 18, of Honolulu, a member of the University of Hawaii-Manoa swim team, died Tuesday in Straub Clinic & Hospital. Sheldt, who was found lying at the bottom of the swimming pool during practice, drowned as a result of a heart condition. He was born in Pensacola, Fla. He is survived by parents Michael and Shawnee, sister Mikaela and grandparents Charles and Edrie. Services on the mainland.

Gerome "Gigi" Sherwood Siamani, 19, of Honolulu, died Feb. 20 in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by parents Siaosi and Virginia; brothers George, Gregory, Gerald, Gerad and Gerret; and sisters Georgina Jones, Georgette, Georgianna, Virginia and Geanette Siamani, and Georgalynn Manaku.
