A class of first-graders from Holy Nativity School got a chance to meet the dolphins yesterday at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental as part of the hotel's Dolphin Quest program. Trainer Nicole West worked one on one with Lansing Sugita and a 400-pound dolphin. After Sugita petted the dolphin's nose , she kissed it. Below, intern Ringo Ho-Siu, left, got the first-graders to gently stroke the dolphin's belly. The program gives people an opportunity to learn about dolphins, sea turtles and other marine life in Hawaii.
