KALANIANAOLE SAFETY PROJECT RESTARTS

Work resumed yesterday on a project to install steel netting on a slope above Kalanianaole Highway near Makapuu. Joe Ramos installed a pin to anchor the netting. Traffic will be restricted to one lane between the Makapuu lookout and Sea Life Park between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with work expected to be completed in mid-April.
