The Bloomberg Honolulu Star-Bulletin Index is a price-weighted index designed to measure the performance of Hawaii-based companies. The index was developed with a base value of 100 as of December 31, 1999. A chart of the index which shows the weekly performance of its members is published weekly in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin.

Hawaiian hits low,
but ends highHawaiian Airlines parent Hawaiian Holdings Inc., which touched an all-time intraday low of $1.40 Thursday, rebounded yesterday to end the week with a 10 percent gain and the top performance among 12 stocks in the Bloomberg Honolulu Star-Bulletin index. The carrier's stock surged 11.5 percent from Thursday's close of $1.48 to end yesterday at $1.65
Ceatech USA Inc. brought up the rear as it fell 15 percent to 17 cents, just off its all-time low of 15 cents.
