REMEMBERING THE RETURN

FL MORRIS / FMORRIS@STARBULLETIN.COM A ceremony marking the 30th anniversary of Operation Homecoming, when more than 600 American prisoners of war started returning from Vietnam, took place yesterday at the flagpole on Hickam Air Force Base. As some of the former POWs stood to the right, the Hickam Base Honor Guard gathered the flag after it was lowered as part of the ceremony.
