may tap Coast GuardThe hoped-for Chuck Norris TV series set in Hawaii remains in development, but not under Tribune Entertainment, which backed out months ago. Chuck and brother/producer Aaron Norris are in discussions with Lions Gate Films' Kevin Beggs, senior VP of drama development. The company is reportedly producing a NBC show for next fall with a Coast Guard storyline. The script by Dave Peckinpah, nephew of famed director Sam Peckinpah, includes the character of an experienced commander, which is reportedly Chuck's role.
