Papias Viernes Batacan, 71, of Waipahu, a retired teacher in the Philippines, died Tuesday in Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi. He was born in Claveria, Cagayan, the Philippines. Leonardo Cerezo Deocares, 93, of Honolulu, a retired Hickam Air Force Base aircraft mechanic, died last Sunday in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Asingan, Pangasinan, the Philippines.
