The trash glam six-piece band returns to Wave Waikiki this weekend with its self-described "outrageous, sex-friendly stage show." It's like "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" and Ziggy Stardust-era David Bowie version two, as frontman (woman?) Robbie "Tomkat" Quine says, "I just wanted to mix glam, science fiction, transvestites and surfing all together" in the music and look of Sex with Lurch.

And there is a very Lurch-like character (Richard Pilawski) looming over his keyboards, all seven feet of him, breaking into an occasional "go-go zombie shuffle" every now and then.

The band is rounded out with guitarists Bernard Yin and Dr. Peacock, drummer Roy Staley (formerly of Green Jelly), the beautiful Aniela plunking away on the bass, plus those sexy queens of dance and vocals, Electra Lux and Brandy Warhol for that important extra dash of trash.

Be there if you dare!
