>> Pookela Gasper, Waialua basketball: Scored 28 points in the Bulldogs' first victory of the year, 66-55 over Waianae.

GIRLS

>> Brandi Peiler, Kamehameha softball: Pitched a perfect game in an 11-0 victory over Sacred Hearts. She also had a double and a triple in the game.

BASKETBALL

>> William Elliot and Sam Wilhoite, Kalaheo: Elliot made all six of his free-throw attempts in overtime as the Mustangs downed previously undefeated Roosevelt. Wilhoite scored 25 points, including five in overtime, in the 65-56 victory.

>> Andrew Talaeai, Leilehua: Scored 20 points in a 49-48 win over Mililani.

>> Alex Patykula, Mililani: Poured in 21 points, but the Trojans lost by a point to Leilehua.

>> Drew Monahan, Punahou: Tipped in a shot from 5 feet out at the buzzer to give the Buffanblu a 49-48 win over Maryknoll.

>> Bobby Nash, Iolani: Netted 25 points as the Raiders defeated Kamehameha.

>> Desmond Hanohano, Saint Louis: Scored 20 points in a win over University.



SOFTBALL

>> Liane Horiuchi, Kamehameha: Hit a three-run homer and a double during a 3-for-3 performance against Mid-Pacific.

>> Kimi Daniels, Sacred Hearts: Went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs in a 14-4 win over La Pietra.

>> Kapu Chung and Jamie Napihaa, Kalaheo: Chung went 2-for-3 with a triple and a three-run homer in an 11-4 win over McKinley. Napihaa was 2-for-3 with a solo homer and two RBIs in the game.

>> Dawn Yara, McKinley: Went 2-for-3 with a triple in a loss to Kalaheo.

>> Charity Senas, Mililani: Hit two doubles and drove in two runs in the Trojans' 8-1 win over Nanakuli.

>> Johnelle Ioane, Nanakuli: Ripped a solo home run in the Golden Hawks' 8-1 loss to Mililani.

>> Courtney Adaro, Moanalua: Hit a double and a three-run home run and finished with six RBIs as the Menehunes defeated Kalani 10-0.

>> Tracy Kane, Waianae: Pitched a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts for the Seariders in their 8-0 victory over Waipahu.

>> Chelsea Rice and Jenna Yanagi, Waiakea: Rice went 3-for-4 with four RBIs for the Warriors in a playoff win over Kealakehe. Yanagi had a triple and three RBIs in a playoff win over Honokaa.

>> Kahaunani Kahananui and Stephanie Bailey, Kealakehe: Both hit two-run home runs in a playoff loss to Waiakea.

>> Lindsay Fujita, Punahou: Had three hits in four trips to the plate and drove in three runs as the Buffanblu defeated Maryknoll.

>> Jessica Ghazali, University: Faced 47 batters in 14 innings and allowed just one run in a 15-inning 3-1 win over HBA/St. Andrew's/St. Francis in the ILH small-school championship game.

>> Gabri Onza and Chante Dupree, Lanai: Both went 2-for-3 in a playoff win over Maui.

>> Kelsie Look and Allison Lipsher, Punahou: Look scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Kamehameha, while Lipsher recorded a shutout.

>> Randene Ako, Aiea: Scored Na Alii's lone goal in a 1-0 win over Kaiser in the OIA quarterfinals.

>> Liane Tom, Mililani: Fired home three goals for the Trojans in a 5-0 victory over Castle in the OIA quarterfinals.

>> Tiana Ahue, Kahuku: Scored two goals for the Red Raiders in a 4-3 win over Kalaheo in the OIA quarterfinals.

>> Stevie Kawatomari, Mid-Pacific: Had the only goal in a 1-0 win over St. Francis.

>> Holden Lau, Roosevelt: Had the lone goal in a 1-0 OIA quarterfinal win over Kaiser.

>> Jeremy Wittig, Pac-Five: Scored the Wolfpack's only goal in a 1-0 win over Kamehameha.

>> Riley Bruhn, Iolani: Had the game's only goal as the Raiders topped Mid-Pacific 1-0.
