She's a sunny optimist; he expects the apocalypse by the end of this calendar year. She's a hardcore slob; he's a neat-freak. She's a sun-worshipper; he's a vampire.

We could go on and on.

The world is full of unlikely couples, joined together despite diametrically opposed views on politics, music, food, family or football loyalties.

Perhaps you and your Significant Other are a perfect example of the theory that opposites attract, in which case we want to hear from you.

On Valentine's Day we'll present the best tales of mixed matches. And if yours is one of the winning stories, there's more in it for you than just the glory of seeing your words in print. There's also the opportunity to embarrass your one true love, but besides that we have prizes!

First prize is dinner for two at 3660 on the Rise. Other winners will receive gift certificates to Kakaako Kitchen.
