Pearl City remained undefeated in the Oahu Interscholastic Association West Division with a 39-35 victory over Kapolei last night at the Chargers' gym.

Kapena Wong and Corey Tavares combined for 20 of the Chargers' 22 second-half points to hold off the Hurricanes.

Pearl City won it at the free-throw line after breaking a 30-30 tie and forcing Kapolei to foul.

The Chargers put their unbeaten streak on the line Friday against Aiea (3-3).
