Mules rise to 6-0

Leilehua remained unbeaten at 6-0 in Oahu Interscholastic Association West Division basketball last night by beating Nanakuli 59-43.

Angelo Massey scored seven of his nine points in the second quarter to help the Mules regain the lead after the host Hawks took an early edge.

Leilehua's Andrew Talaeai scored 13 of his game-high 15 in the fourth quarter.

Pearl City 63, Waialua 47: Corey Tavares scored 12 of his 17 points to help give the Chargers a commanding 31-21 halftime lead en route to the win as Pearl City remained undefeated at 5-0 in the OIA West.

Kailua 64, Farrington 46: Jordan Montgomery scored 18 points to lead the Surfriders to their first win.

Waipahu 51, Campbell 39: Francis Caliboso scored 15 of his 25 points in the first half to lead the Marauders.

Game postponed: The Kaiser at Kahuku game was postponed last night after a 30-inch water main broke and closed Kamehameha Highway at Punuluu Beach Park.
