The lecture, free and open to the public, will be held 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Hawaii Pacific University's Warmer Auditorium, 1060 Bishop St., 7th Floor.
Weinberg, history professor at the University of North Carolina, is the author of numerous books and articles on 20th-century European and world history, including "A World at Arms: A Global History of World War II." He specializes in modern continental Europe, military history, World War II, the Soviet Union, German foreign policy, the Holocaust and the U.S. armed forces in the 20th century.
