>> Leandro Maruoka, Hawaii Pacific basketball: The senior center from Campinas Sol, Brazil, had 54 points and 36 rebounds in four wins and won the PacWest's player of the week award. Maruoka scored 40 points and pulled down 24 rebounds in only 55 minutes against nationally ranked Alaska-Fairbanks last weekend to run HPU's record to 7-1.
