The traditional Christmas colors of red and green were replaced by lots of pink at the Blaisdell Arena last night as a small but boisterous crowd sported pink-streaked hair, pink dresses, pink hats and pink tube tops in honor of the multi-platinum album selling recording artist, Pink.

Singer-songwriter Pink, artist of the hit album "M!ssundaztood," performed in her first Hawaii concert last night at Neal Blaisdell Center. She will also perform in Japan and Europe.

Unlike her fans, when Pink bounded on stage last night to the intro of "I'm Coming Out" the only pink she wore was on the trim of her T-shirt.

Sporting a pair of white boxers under her ripped jeans and a green-tipped mohawk, the singer tore through "M!ssundaztood" and "18 Wheeler" before stopping to acknowledge the crowd and announce, "we're gonna have a singalong."

With a graffiti-covered canvas as a backdrop, Pink got fans singing the 4 Non Blondes' one hit wonder "What's Up" in tribute to Linda Perry. The group's former frontwoman helped write and produce a number of songs on "M!ssundazstood."

Long gone is Pink's angry hip-hop girl image; she acknowledged the success of her debut album "Can't Take Me Home" only once while introducing "There You Go." Other than a tribute to Janis Joplin, Pink stuck to all-new material and got the best reactions from the crowd during "I'm Coming Out," "Family Portrait" and "Just Like a Pill."

San Diego punksters Lucky 7 started the evening with a 30-minute set. The band's lead singer got the warmest reaction when he told the audience Hawaii was his "new home away from home" and changed the chorus of "California Girl" to include Honolulu.

And in true rock star fashion, Pink's drummer William Johnson was allowed to perform after posting a $50,000 cash bond on Tuesday. The 27-year-old was arrested upon arrival in Honolulu Sunday for an outstanding grand larceny warrant out of New York and would still be in custody if his boss didn't post bond for him. Pink joked about the incident at one point during the show, informing the crowd that Johnson was "out on bail right now, thanks to me...I just thought I'd share."
