MAKAPUU WORK TAKES A BREAK

KEN IGE / KIGE@STARBULLETIN.COM Dust was kicked up by work to clear loose rocks from the cliffs above the highway at Makapuu yesterday. The work ended yesterday after three weeks. Partial road closures will start on Dec. 9 when workers begin installing protective netting on the cliffs.
