Danie Hout recorded 11 kills and Ashley Gandauli added seven as the Menehunes routed Kauai Interscholastic Federation champion Waimea at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium.
Moanalua advances to face undefeated Big Island Interscholastic Federation champion St. Joseph in tonight's feature match at 8 p.m.
The Cardinals beat the Menehunes four times in preseason.
Defending state champion Iolani also advanced to the quarterfinals with a 15-4, 15-7 sweep of Kalaheo.
Raeceen Woolford recorded eight kills for the Raiders, who play Seabury Hall today at 3:30 p.m.
Amy Lusk had a match-high nine kills for Kalaheo.
Kealakehe survived a three-game battle with Pearl City to advance to today's 5 p.m. match against Interscholastic League of Honolulu champion Kamehameha.
The Waveriders edged the Chargers 14-16, 15-9, 17-15, led by Kahaunani Kahananui's 18 kills. Antoinette Alapai added seven kills for Kealakehe.
Chalice Kaapuni paced Pearl City with nine kills and four blocks.
Maui defeated Hawaii Prep 13-15, 15-8, 15-10 and faces Oahu Interscholastic Association champion Kahuku at 6:30.
Hawaii Prep was the BIIF runner up with both its previous losses coming to St. Joseph.
Waimea and Kalaheo meet in a consolation match today at 2 p.m. Pearl City plays Hawaii Prep in tomorrow's 2 p.m. consolation match.
