Honolulu firefighter Kevin Won, left, underwent a baptism by fire yesterday as he practiced the Brazilian martial art known as capoeira with Mestre Kinha, right. Upon his graduation, he reached the master status and was conferred the title "Mestre" and the name "Bombero," which means "fireman." He will be known by his fellow Capoeira Hawaii practitioners as Mestre Bombero.
