good wishes on children

The Shichi-Go-San children's kimono festival was held yesterday at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii. Boys age 5 and girls ages 3 or 7 are blessed during the annual event.

The children were clothed by professional kimono dressers for the Shinto blessing by the Rev. Daiya Amano from the Izumo Taishakyo Mission of Hawaii.
