Reyn's celebrates 20 years of "Hawaiian Christmas" aloha shirts with a display beginning Saturday  and continuing through Dec. 25.

Shown will be holiday-themed shirts dating to 1983. This year's design features a compilation of images from Christmases past.

To celebrate the show, there will be entertainment at Reyn's Ala Moana from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, featuring Keoki Kahamoku and Herb Ohta Jr. Tim McCullough, president and CEO of Reyn's and Reyn Spooner, and Reyn's executive vice president and COO Mike Jenness, will be able to answer questions about the designs, hang out and talk story. The event is free.

Macy's holiday looks

Linda Iki's holiday-resort collection will be showcased during informal presentations from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today through Saturday at Macy's Ala Moana Bridge Sportswear, level three.

Caring with jade

One rarely links gems and medicine, but The Wahiawa General Hospital Auxiliary is presenting two benefit sales to benefit the hospital that serves the Central and North Shore communities.

The first is a jade sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow in the hospital's first floor classroom, with pendants, bracelets, necklaces and brooches available.

The second is a fine jewelry sale taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 10, with gold and silver chains, pins, rings and pendants available in the first floor classroom.

‘Dragon Tales’ on way

"Dragon Tales Live" steps out of television and onto the stage as Emmy, Max, Cassie, Ord and Zak & Wheezie head to the Blasidell Arena Nov. 29 through Dec. 8.

The "Missing Music Mystery" presents a challenge in Dragon Land, as the characters wonder how they'll have a concert without music.

The program will feature special effects with audience interaction and participation to teach cooperation and problem-solving skills. Glow-in-the-dark dragon badges will be given to children to help the dragons in their quest to find their music, including songs children will recognize, such as "Shake Your Dragon Tail."

Show times will be as follows:

>> Nov. 29 -- 7 p.m.
>> Nov. 30 and Dec. 7 -- 10:30 a.m., 2 and 5:30 p.m.
>> Dec. 1 and 8 -- 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
>> Dec. 5 and 6-- 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

"Dragon Tales," co-produced by Sesame Workshop and Sony Pictures Family Entertainment, is one of the highest rated children's TV programs among keiki ages 2 to 5.

The live show is presented by VEE Corporation, also known for its stage tours of "Sesame Street Live" and "Bear in the Big Blue House Live."

'Forever Tango' encore

"Forever Tango," the Argentine dance spectacular, returns to Honolulu with new costumes, choreography, musical arrangements and a 35-member cast for six performances beginning Dec. 26, at the Hawaii Theatre.

Performances take place 7:30 p.m. Dec. 26 and 27, and 2 and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 28 and 29.

Tickets for opening night and Saturday's matinee are $22.50, $32.50 and $42.50. Tickets for all other performances are $37.50, $47.50 and $55. A $5 student and senior discount is available.

Laughs on Maui

December will be comedy month at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center with Gallagher performing at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13 and Wayne Brady at 7 p.m. Dec. 30. Tickets go on sale Saturday.

You've seen Gallagher demolish everything from watermelons to chocolate milk, now he brings his Sledge-O-Matic and off-beat humor to Maui. Tickets are $20, $25 and $35, with a limited number of $35 table seats.

Brady's hilarious improvisational antics paired with his ability to impersonate just about anyone have made his comedy series "Whose Line is it Anyway?" a hit. Tickets are $35 reserved and $45 for Golden Circle.
