The Bloomberg Honolulu Star-Bulletin Index is a price-weighted index designed to measure the performance of Hawaii-based companies. The index was developed with a base value of 100 as of December 31, 1999. A chart of the index which shows the weekly performance of its members is published weekly in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin.

The best any of the stocks in the Bloomberg Honolulu Star-Bulletin Index could do this week was to do nothing at all. No news is good news
Both Barnwell Industries Inc. and Ceatech USA Inc. were unchanged for the week. The other 10 stocks in the 12-member index were down.
Nutraceutical firm Cyanotech had the largest loss on a percent basis. Its shares fell 7.4 percent to 50 cents, its 52-week closing low.
