All aboard for studies on a Paradise Cruise

Through a discounted offer from Paradise Cruise, Ltd., the Hogan Family Foundation is able to provide fully sponsored educational day excursions for Hawaii keiki in an exploration of Hawaiian history, culture and maritime activities.

Schools meeting the following criteria may qualify for a 2-1/2 hour "Hawaiiana Cruise" or 1-1/2 hour "Honolulu Harbor Cruise":

>> One or more students would not otherwise be able to afford the trip.

>> The class or group benefits students as an extension of classroom curriculum.

>> The class or group schedule meets with the availability of the selected trip.

>> The group meets a minimum of 50 passengers for the "Hawaiiana Cruise" and 100 passengers for the "Honolulu Harbor Cruise."

>> The group meets a 1:5 adult-to-student ratio.

The "Hawaiiana Cruise" travels along the Waikiki coast with cultural activities, such as lei-making, coconut-palm-frond weaving, hula and ukulele lessons and a light snack with fruit punch.
