BAY AT THE MOON

The city said hundreds of people attended Saturday's "Moonlight Swim" at Hanauma Bay. The city plans to continue opening the popular snorkeling spot to residents and visitors on Saturday nights. Instead of closing at 6 p.m., the park will remain open until 10 p.m. No entrance fee will be charged, but, starting next Saturday, the $1 parking fee will be required.

At a tea ceremony yesterday to honor Hawaii Chief Justice Ronald Moon, right, Yoshiharu Satoh of the Urasenke Hawaii Association presented Moon with a tea bowl for the Judiciary History Center, as former Hawaii first lady Jean Ariyoshi looked on. The bowl, made of raku by a 10th-generation grand tea master, was dedicated last summer to King Kamehameha.
