First Insurance employees and agency partners took part in a charity jail-a-thon yesterday, with the proceeds benefiting the Aloha United Way. "Convicts" were held for an hour unless they could raise $10. Darrell Lum, wearing a ninja outfit, "jailed" Pat Tavares, middle, and David Horiuchi.
