Mary Medeiros Benevides, 85, of Paauilo, Hawaii, a homemaker, died Monday in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Wainaku, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Abel P. Jr. and Richard H.; daughter Barbara DeLuz; brothers John Moniz and Steven and Phillip Lindinha; sister Christine Mosley; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Dolores Torres Calisto, 66, of Hilo, a homemaker, died Monday in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Makawao, Maui. She is survived by sons Joseph, Ralph, Earl and Rayallen Riveira; daughters Gwendolyn Rude and Conchita Riveira; brothers Sonny, George and Benny Torres; sisters Sara Pacheco and Gloria Torres; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ken Ho Choi, 60, of Honolulu, died Oct. 3 in Rockledge, Fla. He was born in Korea. He is survived by wife Gini, sons Sung Sik and Mike, and daughter Angie. Services held.

Joseph Harry Covalt, also known as Harry Covalt, 83, of Honolulu, an insurance executive, died Saturday. He was born in Lansonne, Pa. He is survived by wife Edna, son Stephen, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private services.

Lucille B. Ferrier, 84, of Honolulu, a retired Red Cross social worker, died Monday in Moanalua. She was born in New York. She is survived by son Bill. Private scattering of ashes at sea. Donations suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Ruth Tsuruko Gaza, 90, of Honolulu, died Sunday. She was born in Puunene, Maui. She is survived by sons Thomas and John; daughters Florence Inai, Grace Nakama and Charlotte Santos; brothers Robert and Kenneth Asato; sisters Elsie Maeda, Elaine Ebesu, Janet Isoda and Judy Kido; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. Tuesday at Nuuanu Mortuary. Casual attire. No flowers.

Leinaala May Kanehailua Ho, 60, of Honolulu, died Oct. 5 in St. Francis Hospice-West. Services canceled. The mortuary provided additional information for an obituary published Tuesday.

Robin Isaacson, also known as "The Harley Lady," 80, of Honolulu, an artist, died Wednesday in Honolulu. She was born in Oklahoma. She is survived by a son, a daughter, a grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services: 9 a.m. Monday at Hawaiian Memorial Park.

James Napuaalaikawaiolumia Kahalepauole, 85, of Haleiwa, died Oct. 1. He was born in Waialua. He is survived by nephews Roy and Ronald Canon, numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. Werner Heinz Krahner, 70, of Hilo, a retired tool and die maker for Boeing Aircraft Co., died Sunday in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Chicago. He is survived by wife Teresa; sons Paul and Martin; daughters Jaime Dobson, Holly Sabottka, Karen Davis and Joy and Kirsten Krahner; brothers Erwin and Fred; and 11 grandchildren. Richard Kui Fu Lee, 69, of Santa Rosa, Calif., died Aug. 8 at home. He was born in Honolulu.
