Daniel Clare Allen "Dan" Barnes, 73, of Waipunalei, Hawaii, a retired Hawaii Electric Light Co. employee, died Tuesday at home. He was born in Detroit. John DeMello, 81, of Honolulu, a retired rigger from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, died Sunday in Ewa Beach. He was born in Honolulu.
