sensations in townHungry? There'll be a whole lot of sampling going on at the Food and New Products Show, tomorrow through Sunday at Blaisdell Center.
More than 400 exhibitors will be showing off the latest things you can spend money on -- products from Hawaii and abroad. Judging from the display at years past, you can count on lots of those new items being edible and offered for tasting.
The show will also feature new cars, home-improvement ideas, sports memorabilia and a craft fair.

Kodama of Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar at 7 p.m. Friday, Troy Teruya of Catch of the Day Sushi at 2 p.m. Saturday, and Al and Pat Salvador of Fish and Poi Shack at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The Lava Rock Chef Challenge cookoffs are at noon, 3:15 and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, and 11:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Sunday.
