About 800 delegates are expected at the FACE Annual Accountability Assembly, according to the Rev. Neal MacPherson, president of the interfaith community action organization.
The assembly will ask gubernatorial candidates to commit to improvement of public school restrooms and campus security, and for timely completion of renovations at Kalihi Valley Homes. It will ask City Council candidates to work with FACE on a living-wage ordinance.
Linda Lingle, Republican candidate for governor, has said she will attend, according to MacPherson. Also expected to attend are Bishop Francis DiLorenzo, head of the Catholic diocese, and the Rev. Barbara Ripple, Hawaii district superintendent of the United Methodist Church.
